ABOUT- PAVEL SOKOV

Figurative portrait painter who was born in Moscow, Russia and emigrated to Canada when he was 10 years old. He is primarily known for his portrait work, with clients including Time Magazine (2014 Time Person of the Year issue), three Royal Families, celebrities, well known entrepreneurs, and professors of the sciences. Through working with these clients he was able to travel all across the world and be inspired by the various cultures he encountered in the process.

His personal work is inspired by the narratives, textures, traditions and people he encountered throughout his many world travels.
